This is a donation to a Waqf project - specifically for the payment of the building cost - a Sadiqah Jariyah For you or a family member.

If the required donations are not obtained the mosque will need to use general donations from reserved funds to complete the payment.

AMIC has paid £660,000 of the £900,000 due to Aberdeen City Council for the purchase of the building. We are still in debt and due to pay another £240,000 over the next 4 years in equal instalments of £60,000 per annum.

This fundraiser is to raise £60,000 so we can pay the second instalment on time.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 450, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 533)
